Hello, I’m Catherine

How It Started (Offline).

I grew up on a small-holding in Kent and have always loved the countryside, animals and technology.

Most of the adults around me were entrepreneurial in one way or another. You could say, it was inevitable that I would follow in their footsteps. Once I was bitten by the business bug, there was no going back. I started my first business in 2016 at the age of 25 and never looked back.

You could say that I am a millennial who grew up with the best of both worlds; before, and after the internet. I remember playing outside until dinner was ready, and growing up with the progression of internet, computers and social media.

It’s shaped who I am, and gives me a perspective that allows for better problem solving practices.

I Attract Unusual Businesses

I have been lucky enough to work in all kinds of weird and wonderful organisations since the age of 16.

I’ve farmed Koi carp, supported universities, run hotels for dogs and all sorts.

My clients tend to run unusual businesses too – it’s one of the things that makes our working relationship click. They are often very methodical planners and thinkers. These people are sociable too. They like to be in the middle of the action.

I often find what they need from me is someone who can provide not just a “bit of marketing” and website, but really in depth perspective and data analysis for better decision making.

Marketing is great fun, because it involves teasing out the very best qualities about a person or business, and magnifying them. It’s about seeing the best in everyone.

I also attract a lot of neurodivergent types (because I’m one of those too). If you’re a fellow ADHD-er, or dyslexic – welcome! I hope you feel at home here.

Outside Of Work

In my spare time, you’ll be sure to find me stomping around the countryside with my Border Collie, gardening, playing violin or kicking back with a glass of something interesting (usually accompanied by a film or TV series). I absolute love a good murder mystery series.

My favourites are the classics; Cracker, Wire in the Blood, Jonathan Creek and Sherlock Holmes. I have a very intense love for comedy too, especially Mel Brooks and Gene Wilder films.
