How It Started

I grew up on a small-holding in Kent and have always loved the countryside, animals and technology.

Since the age of 16, I’ve worked in all kinds of weird and wonderful organisations, like farming Koi carp and supporting universities. But being surrounded by adults who were entrepreneurial in one way or another, it was inevitable I would follow in their footsteps. 

I was bitten by the business bug, starting my first business – a dog hotel – in 2016 and since then have never looked back.

Changing Lanes

I am a millennial who grew up with the best of both worlds: before, and after the internet. I remember playing outside until dinner was ready, then coming indoors and playing on the computer, growing up with the progression of the internet and social media. It’s shaped who I am and gives me a perspective that allows for better problem-solving practices. (I’m also neurodivergent, which is an added super-power when it comes to the online world.)

That’s why I decided to set up Catherine Clothier – Online Presence Specialist. 

Off The Clock

In my spare time, you’ll be sure to find me skipping through the countryside with my Border Collie, rowing a boat along the RMC, gardening, playing violin or kicking back with a really good murder mystery or British sitcom.

My favourites are the classics: Cracker, Wire in the Blood, Jonathan Creek, Sherlock, Spaced, Black Books, The Office and Extras.
